I'm beginning to believe my childhood friend may be suffering from schizophrenia , she is delusional , incoherent and at times even aggressive. she manifests a belief in an external force that controls her and she also believes in "thought broadcasting" and is paranoid. remembering other periods of her life , she seems to have been prone to develop this condition. the first symptoms showed up after she stopped smoking cannabis on a regular basis.
how should i approach this situation without harming her , is there any way she could be made aware of her condition so that she accepts help?

Please advise.
