i have a dearest person suffering from this disease…..is there any treatments for it?……can it be cured?

Hello,
I to (like sheila) have a 1st cousin who has Paranoid Schizophrenia & she will not take her meds has been in and out of treatment centers now they r sayin they can’t commit her unless she is trying to harm someone. She has 3 kids 10,7 & 1, we don’t want anything to happen to the kids or her but we @ this point don’t know what we can do. any tips? we need any that are helpful & Prayers are always welcomed.

i was born wit skits…… but itgot bad like real bad when i was like 13 …. it sucks i hate it…..i have paranoid and disorganized skits….i dont really have any advice but ive been dealin wit by my self….. and for those who are doin the same b/c they dont want anyone to kno….stop please…. get help tell your family and friends and hope for their support….. i jus finally talked to someone i trust for the first time in 6 yrs and im 19….. it helps alot….but i think its to late to try and help my self ive never taken any medicine but ima try it out…. but mine is so bad that if i told you, you wouldnt believe me………… please get help

i know someone (29) who is a shizophrenic, wud like 2 know how 2 deal with him on a day 2 day basis, whatever he’s been told he does, req. confidential.

I have a first cousin who suffers from paranoid schitzophrenia who does not take her meds. regularly and at this point her disease is very out of control she will not go to dr., will not take her meds. and is getting worse and worse what can be done for her how can the family see that she is placed somewhere she can get help? SWhe is 42 years old and the judge wont commit her until she does something criminal but we dont want it to come to that what can we do?

i have been schizophrenic for the last ten years… I take Invega. I want to switch to Saphris in case the negative symptoms may be better affected… Life is hard. Not sure if things will be like this forever — not much sense to made of it. suffering and more suffering.
