My son (16 yrs old), for the last six months, have been stedafstly denying to study and going to school. Of late, he even becomes violent when we tell him to study or go to school. He is otherwise a completely normal child. Is he schizophrenic?

I schizoprenic for almost 5 years, I have taken olanzapine, clozapin, the last medicine is I take risperdal.
Almost the last two years I haven’t taken these medicine, I am Moslem, I read Qur’an and listen to Qur’an recitation and This help me to release the voices in my head, the frequencies of voices are not to often come again, but It’s still come sometimes, and try to think positive in your everyday life also help you to reduce the symptons. Thanks.

i had one episode of delusion after which doc gave me ECT. iam cured but i hear songs in my head continously.they originate on own any cure…

My cure for schizophdrnia is a regular healthy diet and exercise follow ghe ten commandments as close as possible and examine and study the 7 virtures and 7 deadly sins after 2 weeks of breaking old negative habits it takes 2 weeks to break a bad habit get out and mix join a group Reading club tennis club photography club the list is endless find a hobbie and use a little imagination in your conversation to gain poularity and fun. Remember it’s a human right to be happy under the UN Charter so don’t feel guilty about enjoing yourself when yo feel depressed… for example…

I am a schizophrenic for the past 10 years.
Risperdal helps me a lot.
Also, when i hear voices in my head, i tell myself that it is not a real voice coming from my surroundings but a voice that was created by my own brain.
Then, I consider myself cured.

get off meds by slowly decreasing. when u stop, drink vita rain or vitamin water daily. add with that gnc brand fish oil 3 times daily, but star on 1 for a week then 2 then 3. i do this and have a clear mind with no symptoms or side effects..
